The County of Middlesex and County of Monmouth will be hosting an online Public Information Center meeting to inform local residents, organizations, businesses and the general public of the Local Concept Development Study for the Old Bridge-Matawan Road (CR 516) Bridge 3B40 over Lake Lefferts.
The purpose of the Public Information Center meeting is to inform the public of the Purpose and Need Statement and to solicit public input and comment on the conceptual alternatives and Preliminary Preferred Alternative (PPA) for bridge improvements. This bridge study is being implemented in cooperation with the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, and the Federal Highway Administration. The meeting will be conducted in conformance with Federal and State regulations.

Please Note:
The Project Team will provide the municipalities with a public meeting Notice (as pdf file with meeting link included) to distribute and post to your municipal websites. Once approved, PIC Notice will be sent in a separate email.
Also similar to the first public meeting, a PIC Invitation Letter with the Notice and a Comment Form will be mailed to property owners within 500’ of the bridge and to community stakeholders on the project contact list including schools, civic and cultural organizations, hospital and businesses as well as those who attended prior outreach meetings and completed the community input survey.
