Introducing the New Old Bridge Safe Exchange Zone!
Located in the library parking lot, this new Safe Exchange Zone will be monitored 24/7 by the Old Bridge Police Department. Whether you're meeting up to buy & sell items or trade collectibles, you can now do it safely and securely. There are 2 parking spots located in the first row of the library parking lot (facing the tennis courts) now dedicated to exchange items safely. This is your new go-to spot for secure online transactions!

About This Project:
Sitaara Patel is an Old Bridge Girl Scout Cadette with Troop #82114, part of the Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey. For Sitaara's Girl Scout Silver Award Project, her proposal was to create a designated safe space within Old Bridge Township for internet transactions & online trading so that residents can safely exchange goods. Sitaara pitched the idea to the Mayor's Office and worked with the Police Department, Public Works and Administration to get the signs made in the library parking lot. As of September 16, 2024, there are now 2 spots located in the first row of the library parking lot (facing the tennis courts) that are designated for online transactions only. Sitaara also created online images about the project to spread the word to Old Bridge residents. We are so proud of Sitaara!
