Our Full-Day Summer Recess Program is a non-profit organization run through Old Bridge Township's Parks & Recreation Department offering an affordable camp program to township families for over 25 years!

Our program offers parents the option to enroll child(ren) for the first 4 weeks, full 8 weeks, or last 4 weeks of camp.

First 4 weeks: June 30th to July 25th

Full 8 weeks: June 30th to August 22nd

Program Breakdown

The grade your child(ren) will be going into for the 2025-2026 school year will determine which camp your child(ren) will attend.

  • Registration is open to Old Bridge RESIDENTS only.

  • Child must be AT LEAST 5 years old AND completed one year of school/ going into 1st grade to enroll.

  • There are no sibling discounts available.

  • Maximum enrollment numbers are based on staff ratios, facility size, and resources available.

Enrollment & Registration

Old Bridge Township's Before/After School Child Care program requires all registrants to enroll using our online registration platform, RecDesk.

Parents/guardians seeking to enroll their child(ren) into our program MUST create an account on RecDesk prior to registering. 

How to:

  • Create your account here: Sign up (recdesk.com)

  • Once your account is created:

    • You must add all household members to the account with full information for each.

    • Attending child(ren) must be a household member on the account to register for our program(s).

      • Upon registration, you will be directed to select the attending child for that particular program.

Documentation & Forms

We will be enforcing a fully digital process for ALL forms and documentation necessary for camp registration - absolutely NO exceptions.

Participants who are enrolled will be provided instructions on how to complete the required forms via email.

  • Universal Health Record (all campers)

  • Program Processes and Protocols

  • Children's Record Information

  • IEP Documentation (if applicable)

  • 504 Plan Documentation (if applicable)

  • Medical or Allergy Documentation (if applicable)

Please note the following information when registering for our program(s):

  • Registration for each camp OPENS promptly at 6 pm on the dates listed.

  • You will NOT be able to register before these dates.

  • Once a program has reached capacity, registrants will be prompted to add their child(ren) to the appropriate "Wait-List".

  • Should an opening become available, our office will contact those on the waitlist (in order) with an opportunity to register for camp and proceed with payment.

  • We will not be taking any registrants off waitlists after May 8th.

  • Failure to pay in FULL by June 1st will deny your child's participation in camp.

Payment Process & Information

Parents/Guardians are required to make all payments online by logging onto your RecDesk account.

  • Tuition rates vary depending on the program and length option selected.

    • 8-week option is available for those who wish to register for the entirety of summer camp.

      • Full 8-week dates: June 30th to August 22nd

    • 4-week option is available for those who wish to register for the first or last 4-weeks ONLY.

      • 1st 4-week dates: June 30th to July 25th

      • 2nd 4-week dates: July 28th to August 22nd

  • Camp tuition rates are determined by projected camp expenses, including/not limited to: field trips, events, program snacks, employee salaries, and other operating expenses for camp.

  • Full or partial payment required upon registration.

  • Enrollments are NOT finalized until payment is complete and confirmation has been received.

  • Payments made on payment plans MUST be received on the listed due dates to secure your child's enrollment.

    • If payments are received after the listed due dates, a $25 fee will be applied each time.

  • FULL payment is required no later than June 1st.

    • If FULL payments are NOT received by June 1st your child's enrollment is subject to cancellation.

  • We DO NOT bill credit cards.

Financial Assistance

The township does not offer any assistance programs or scholarships. If you are in need of financial assistance for your child's daycare, please contact Community Child Care Solutions at (732)-324-4357. They are based out of Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.

Refund Policy

  • By registering for camp, you enter into an agreement requiring payment for the entire camp tuition, unless our offices are notified with your request to withdrawal or refund. 

    • All refunds must be submitted by email to our program prior to June 1st.  NO REFUNDS will be given after June 1st. 

    • Please submit all refund requests to afterschool@oldbridge.com. 

Trip Information & Calendars

Trip information and calendars will be provided once registration is closed.

Please note trip dates and times are subject to change until June.

The daily activity schedule will change depending on the age of the camper, but all three of our camps go on trips for a majority of their camp days. Trips include amusement parks, water parks, mini golf, bowling, zoos, trampoline parks and many other fun options. Each camp will have sports equipment as well as arts and craft supplies for on-site entertainment when not on trips.

  • We do not provide daily lunch please send a brown bagged lunch for your child daily.

    • Campers are provided 2 snacks and 2 juice each day.

    • Any trips that include lunch will be listed on the calendar accordingly.

  • We DO NOT offer transportation to and from camp, parents must drop off and pick up at camp sites.

    • ALL campers must go on the trips, as no counselors are left behind at the campsite to supervise.

    • If you do not want your child to attend a particular trip, you may bring your child to camp once we have returned from the trip.
