FOOD BANK DONATIONS

The Old Bridge Food Bank accepts donations of non-perishable food items as well as toiletries. Donated items may be dropped off directly to the Food Bank on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 10am and 12pm. There is a NO CONTACT drop-off box located outside of the Food Bank for your convenience, available during food bank hours only.

Monetary donations are accepted and appreciated! Checks must be made out to The Old Bridge Food Bank and may be mailed to: Old Bridge Food Bank, 1 Old Bridge Plaza, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.

Schools and other organizations are encouraged to call first, before planning food drives. Thank you!

If you are in need of food assistance, please call 732-721-5600, ext. 2022. Voicemails are monitored daily. Please make sure to leave your name and phone number so that we may return your call as soon as possible. You must reside within Old Bridge Township, to be eligible for Old Bridge food assistance services.

We are located at the municipal complex, next door to the Building & Code Department. Look for the building that resembles a small, red barn. That is the Food Bank. The address is 1 Old Bridge, Plaza, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.

We carry a variety of perishable and non-perishable food items to assist families and individuals fight food insecurity. We continuously develop partnerships with other organizations and agencies provide our clients with fresh produce, when available, as well as fresh bread, milk and eggs.

Client Qualifications                     

The Old Bridge Food Bank follows the Federal Poverty Level income guidelines, for food bank service eligibility. In order to receive assistance, you must be and Old Bridge resident and have applied for SNAP (previously known as Food Stamps) at the Middlesex County Board of Social Services at 732-745-3500.  After applying for SNAP, you are required to schedule an intake appointment for food bank services in Old Bridge.   Please call Kristin Agunbiade, Food Bank Assistant Manager at 732-721-5600 ext. 6625 to schedule an intake appointment.   

You must provide the following information:

Two (2) Proofs of Old Bridge Residency (tax bill, utility bill, bank statement, driver's license)
Award/ Denial Letter from SNAP
Earned Income Verification (last two consecutive pay stubs, or bank statement showing direct deposit)
Benefit Award Letter ((SSA, SSD, SSI, unemployment)
