A valid permit is required to park in all Old Bridge Township Parking Lots, as well as the daily fee (where applicable), 24/7, including nights & weekends.

The new permit website launched on 11/15/22. Any accounts created before this date no longer exist. Once you create a NEW account in Flowbird, you will need to upload 3 documents:
NJ driver's license
NJ vehicle registration
Valid Insurance card
Types of permits available:
1) Resident/Yearly permit = $28.75 per plate, per year (expires 1 year from purchase date)
2) Resident/Temporary permit = $7.50 per month (expires 30 days from purchase date)
3) NON-Resident/Yearly permit = $53.75 per year
4) NON-Resident /Temporary permit= $12.50 per month

Step 1) Create a NEW account (you will receive an email from Flowbird/Cale to verify your account - check spam folder)
Step 2) Upload the 3 required documents
Step 3) You will receive an email once documents are approved by the Township
Step 4) Pay by debit or credit card
Step 5) You will receive an email once payment is complete. Yearly permits are active 1 year from payment date.
Step 6) Please confirm payment went through on your debit/credit card before parking. The permit status in Flowbird should say "active".
Features of the website:
-You will receive reminders every year when the permit is expiring (check spam folders).
-You can update your vehicle/license plate* information at any time, for no charge (*up to 3 times per year).
-You can manage your own account throughout the year.
2) IN-PERSON:
Bring a completed application, all required documents and fees to the Department of Public Works. Checks or EXACT CHANGE only, no credit cards. Checks should be made out to "Township of Old Bridge". Office hours for permit processing are weekdays 8am - 3pm only. Please call first. THERE IS A $5.00 PROCESSING FEE FOR IN-PERSON PERMITS.

*IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) Parking permits are virtual using your license plate number. You will NOT receive a physical permit. License plates are scanned daily to ensure permits are valid.
2) Please read all emails from the the permit company (Flowbird/Cale) carefully. Check junk and spam folders.
3) Permit processing can take approximately 1-2 business days
4) There are NO refunds on parking permits.
5) Commuters can edit their license plate # up to 3 times per year on the Flowbird website.
RENEWALS:
When you log into the Flowbird portal, simply "apply for a new permit". There is no way to automatically "renew" since each year you have to upload your current documents. The Township will review the 3 required documents then send further instructions.

Two Old Bridge parking lots require an additional dollar-a-day payment to park, in addition to the annual permit. NON-residents pay $3.00 per day.

Pay at Kiosk by entering your license plate number. Pay with cash or debit/credit card.
Flowbird Mobile App
Download the Flowbird Mobile app in the Apple Store or Google Play Store. Pay with debit/credit card.

Once user account is created, enter the zone number you are parked in:
