L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs)The goal of the L.E.A.D. program is to significantly reduce/eliminate the use of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and the use of violent behavior among young people. Through L.E.A.D., students are taught to understand the physical, emotional and social effects of alcohol, tobacco, marijuana and inhalants on their developing brains and bodies, as well as the legal ramifications. Students are also taught to apply refusal strategies and resistance skills in a variety of life-like situations. For additional information, please contact Det. Patrick D'Onofrio, (732) 721-5600, Ext. 3170.
