Discover the Township’s Parks, Recreation & Social Services
The Township’s Department of Parks, Recreation, and Social Services proudly maintains an array of parks, open spaces, and recreational facilities—encompassing over 300 acres of developed land. It also hosts a broad selection of programs tailored to serve all ages and abilities; there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy. Geick Park, one of our main parks, features a state-of-the-art synthetic surface baseball field, soccer field, and dedicated areas for softball and lacrosse. It also hosts Camp R.O.B.I.N., a cherished program offering enriching experiences for individuals with special needs. Beyond our scenic parks, the Department offers an average of 50 seasonal programs. These include children’s dance and movement classes, creative arts and crafts, STEM enrichment, ceramics workshops and fitness and exercise programs for adults.

Old Bridge John Piccolo Ice Arena, operated by Old Bridge Parks, Recreation & Social Services, will open for the 2026–2027 ice skating season on October 12 and close on March 27. The cashier’s booth phone is only available during public sessions.Public skating sessions are held on Sundays from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM; Mondays from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM on Old Bridge school holidays only, and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM; Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM; Fridays from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and adult open hockey 10:45 PM to 11:45 PM; and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM for ages 13–17. Saturday teen open hockey is held from 10:45 PM to 11:45 PM. Admission prices for residents are $9 for adults ages 18 and over, $8 for students ages 14–17 and adults ages 62 and over, and $7 for children ages 13 and under. Admission prices for non-residents are $12 for adults ages 18 and over, $10 for students ages 14–17 and adults ages 62 and over, and $8 for children ages 13 and under. Skate rentals are $8.
