Department of Parks & Recreation suspends programs, classes and events in response to Coronavirus concerns
Based on recommendations by local, county and state health authorities, the Office of Emergency Management and school officials, the Township’s Department of Parks & Recreation announced that all Old Bridge Recreation programs, building rentals, field permits, Old Bridge Ice Arena public sessions, figure skating classes, and hockey clinics will be suspended starting Friday, March 13th to Monday, March 23rd. At that time, the Recreation department will evaluate the situation and decide if programs will resume or if the suspension will continue.
This announcement follows the previously announced suspension of its Camp R.O.B.I.N program until at least March 30th.

The Old Bridge Township Department of Parks Recreation and Social Services maintains several parks, open spacetracts, and recreation buildings, and also provides a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of all ages and abilities.
With over 300 acres of developed park land and open space, the department offers something for everyone. One such park, Geick Park, houses a synthetic surface baseball field, soccer field, softball and lacrosse fields, as well as the Camp R.O.B.I.N. program; a program for individuals with special needs. Along with the many Township parks, the Department also offers (on average) 50 programs each season. These programs include Mommy and Me classes, children's dance classes, arts and crafts, a preschool, adult cooking classes, and aerobics.
