School Board Election - MOVED TO GENERAL ELECTION

 Primary Election - July 7, 2020 Voting will be by provisional ballot only from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.         

General Election  - November 3, 2020 Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Polling Locations If you are not already registered to vote - the last day to register to be eligible to vote in the Primary Election is June 16, 2020. The last day to register for the General Election is October 13, 2020.

 

Despite COVID-19, there is still a safe and secure way to exercise our right to vote in this year's primary election, currently scheduled for July 7, 2020.

Voter Registration Requirements

To vote in New Jersey, you must:

  • You are a citizen of the United States

  • You are least 17 years of age*

  • You will be a resident of this State and county at least 30 days before the election

  •  You are NOT currently serving a sentence, probation or parole because of a felony conviction

*you may register to vote if you are at least 17 years old but cannot vote until reaching the age of 18. 

 

To register in time to vote in any upcoming election, your application must be postmarked by 21 days before the election.

Information on Absentee/Mail-In Ballots

If you have voted by mail-in ballot in the past, but do not wish to do so going forward, you MUST file an opt-out form with the County to be removed from their mail-in ballot listings. The forms can be sent directly to the County at the address onthe form, or they can be sent to our office and we will forward them to the County.

Deadlines to file opt-out forms:

  • Prior to June Primary Election - 3/23/2020
  • Prior to November General Election - 8/24/2020
