The Before/After School program is a non-profit program sponsored by the Township with the cooperation of the Board of Education and is supported by parent tuition fees only. The parent/guardian/custodian will be responsible for payment of any fees from enrollment until withdrawal from the program. All tuition fees must be kept current in order for child care services to be provided. Activities will include homework time, organized games, movies, and quiet time. Breakfast will not be served in the Before School Program. You may send your child with a nutritious snack. The After School Program does provide a daily snack and drink for your chid. Care is available on all scheduled half days. It does not operate when school is closed for the day or in the event of an emergency school closing. In case of a delayed school opening, before school child care is canceled. After school care is held as usual until 6:00 pm. Enrollment is open to children in grades K-8. Each school site has an individual phone line in case of emergency. On the first day of our program, check with the Before/After School Supervisor for the site phone number. Registration Information for the Before & After School 2008/2009 School Year:
Registration will be from August 8 - August 27. You will be responsible for paying the first two months of the program (September & October). Registration will be done online using the Recreation Online Registration System. If you have signed up for a Recreation Program this is the same I.D. you will be using to register for the Before/After School Program. If you are unsure if you have an ID please call us and have the following information ready by filling out the Registration form ahead of time.
Steps to Register for Before And After Care
- Click on "My Recreation Programs" Link on the top right of the Township Homepage.
- Login using your User I.D. (password is same as your Login I.D.)
- Go to SHOP on left hand side of page and click on "Activity Enrollment".
- Click on the Family Member to Enroll and make sure you choose your childs name.
- Click on "Sorted by Activity Type".
- Click on the drop down bar to select Before & After Care.
- Choose the program (Before, After, or Before & After) and site location (school at which your child will attend in Sept.)
- The number of days of Before and After Care must be the same. If you need Before and After you must choose a Before and After combination option. You can't pick one Before option and another After option.
Example: If you need Before and After school, but only need Before for 3 days and After for 5 days, you must choose the Before and After Combination for 5 days. If you need Before for 5 days and After for 3 days, you must again choose the Before and After combination of 5 days.

- LAST STEP - PLEASE PRINT OUT THE EMERGENCY CLOSING ACTION PLAN. CLICK ON CONTRACTS AND FORMS AND YOU WILL FIND THE LINK TO THIS DOCUMENT.
- YOU MUST RE-ENROLL EVERY MONTH. Follow the same steps above to re-enroll. Please see example below:
Re-enrollment example: If your child needs to attend in November, you must register your child from Oct 1 - Oct 15. If you need to register your child for December you must register from November 1 - November 15. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made if you miss the registration dates. The system is closed out and will not allow for any changes.
